Free…to a Good Home

From February 2nd, we've decided to make the Advertising Boards at our stores a free service to all our retail customers. It provides us all with some great opportunities – but some restrictions will always apply... For as long as most of our customers at our Ashton store can remember, we've offered our visitors the chance to advertise horses for sale on a dedicated board around the till area, for a few quid a week. Over time, the idea grew until it included horseboxes for sale, puppies, lost pets, livery available and a wide variety of other things. [More]

A Look Round our New Leeds Store

At 12 noon precisely on Wednesday 17th December 2014, we opened the doors at our fifth store for the very first time. Located in Hunslet, South Leeds, just yards from Junction 5 of the M621, the 15,000 sq ft Megastore is the latest addition to the Robinsons roster of stores – and it won't be the last! [More]

Our Leeds Store Will Open… …As Soon As We Announce It!

Since we announced an intention to open our fifth store in Hunslet, Leeds, we've been inundated with questions about when it'll open. I guess that's not surprising but it's still great to see how warmly we're being welcomed by the local equestrian community. While we've needed a few weeks to turn two bare, empty units into a stunning 15,000 sq ft store, we're very keen not to disappoint all those who can't wait to visit by making our opening any later than we absolutely have to. The Robinsons Logo: 147 Years of Evolution

Have you seen our new logo? What do you think? It's designed with the future in mind but we hope you'll agree, it has elements which remain firmly rooted in our past. I appreciate that may not mean much to many of our younger customers but to Marketing bores like me, 'heritage' and other rather pretentious-sounding terms like 'brand value' are quite a big deal, especially when there are changes in the air. We felt it was important to establish some sort of continuity where we could without compromising the change of direction we wanted. [More]
